The future of Nottingham Forest at the City Ground remains up in the air after reports last week that the club could be forced to look for a new home when talks broke down with the city council.
Kingie: Moving Forest out to Toton! Is the City Council taking the p**s? or are they just clutching at straws? Next thing they will went to change the club's name to Derby Forest LOL, OH LOLA MY DEAR! Cloughs1980red: Whoever suggested this needs to think again. If this is such a great idea after looking at what is happening at Everton over their new ground and PSR, at present a new stadium build should not even be an option on the table, with the club not even knowing yet which league we will be playing yet or if we are going to be hit with even more sanctions. While it would be great, a new stadium this site is slap bang in the middle between both Nottingham and Derby .
RoanBlue: Problem I see is infrastructure around here. Over the past thirty years it's gone down hill to the point there is nothing left. Talk about ghost towns. If supporters want to get to the ground watch the game then go home it's workable. During HS2, the A52 was planned for a slip road down to the station that was to be situated at Toton sidings. The train from Nottingham to this area is not workable as the only station is either Ilkeston or Sawley Junction.
