If the European parliament approves Ursula von der Leyen’s nomination in two weeks’ time, the German defence minister will make for an unusual European commission president: a consensus candidate who has won the approval of western liberals and eastern rightwingers, yet is proving divisive in her home country.
If they say so, she must be the best.
If the EU wants to move on from it's Franco-Germanic image and keep unrested States such as Hungary, Italy and Poland within it's membership then surely this was the wrong choice. They need strong leadership not an invitation for criticism and destabilisation.
She is the best candidate. Was instrumental in turning the tides of war against ISIS in Kurdistan by supporting the forces of good, the Peshmargah. Freedom living people love her!!
They should see the choices we have for Prime Minister... then they'd feel differently.

She has a proven record to be utterly incompetent and is under investigation for corruption. Plus is, she is merkels underling and her father was a top eu hack. In short she is an f eu hack, lightweigt, wants an united state of europe and an eu army. Perfect choice for macron.
The only ones with something to fear are the British.
