Children and parents have been saying goodbye to the long summer holidays this week after a well-deserved break as students return to school.The first half-term back in school generally sees a spike in children’s viral illness with kids back in close contact with each other.That means GPs across Northern Ireland are gearing up for an increase in seasonal colds and flu over the coming weeks.
