The 31 new, modern homes at Northburn Avenue and Northburn Place in Airdrie are built on the site where 28 flats were demolished as part of the local authority's re-provisioning programme.

All of the new homes are designed to Housing for Varying Needs standards, meaning they are adaptable to suit different tenants’ needs and are Secured by Design accredited. Councillor McPake said: “Our housing plans are significant and are already having a positive impact on the lives of our tenants and residents across North Lanarkshire’s communities.
