Disgusting behaviour. The parents of these kids should be prosecuted too.

No place for this in our society at all. Hopefully the young lad is okay and those youths who attacked them are caught. Clear failure of education at home I'd imagine.

As the BBC hasn't mentioned the youth's religion I'd be fairly sure he is a Protestant. Any sectarian attack is wrong but why do they only mention the victim's religion when it is a Catholic?

Any sectarian attack must be condemned and a attack on one so young is shocking. Hate breeds hate and offers nothing to the youth in our communities.

Blame the politicians certain politicians use raw sectarian hatred to gain votes so it stems from the lowlife politicians. But the same politicians make sure their own children are kept well out of these areas mainly because they can afford to with the wages they get for nothing.

It’s a very very dangerous time for all Catholics/Nationalists living in the North of Ireland this time of the year. Dangerous all year round because of the raw sectarian hatred that exists but especially during the marching season. Stay out of unionist areas at this time.

What a place.

Nolan be all over this when he comes back?

Who hurt the child?

530 broad day light? Not even going to claim its one sided cuz its not. This country is rotten to the fucking core. If caught the children should have to do 100 hrs community service in a youth club of the opposite religion. Time we educate ALL KIDS b4 they waste their lives

This makes me sad... I'm moving back home after years away and I'm fed up already looking at flags sectarian imagery and crap like this.... I worry for my own kids with scum like this walking the streets
