Normal People star Paul Mescal was reportedly referred to as 'fiancé' by Phoebe Bridgers at Coachella music festival

Normal People star Paul Mescal has reportedly gotten "engaged" to his singer girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers.

The pair's first connection came when Phoebe spoke about being a huge fan of the show back in 2020, later calling the Irish star a "cute boy" in an interview with NME magazine. The stars made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Film Gala as a couple.OK! has contacted representatives for the couple for comment.

The pair, who played warring characters on the hugely-popular BBC3 show, had moved in together in London ahead of lockdown.
