Noise and traffic concerns: Neighbours resist Epworth Fields park expansion

Neighbours near North Lincolnshire's Epworth Fields Holiday Park have strongly opposed its expansion, citing ongoing issues with noise, traffic, and anti-social behaviour.

The proposed expansion includes seventeen new static lodges, a reception block, parking facilities, and a pond. The initial proposal also featured more touring pitches, but the park later withdrew this element. Mrs Lindley, a local resident, highlighted the potential strain on Newland Lane, the sole access route to the site. She also emphasised the park's location in flood zone three, the area with the highest flood risk. She argued that the expansion would infringe upon the Human Rights Act, underscoring everyone's right to peacefully enjoy their property.

Mrs Kirk, a long-time resident of Newland Lane, recounted instances of"shouting and bawling in the early hours" and expressed her exhaustion with the ongoing disturbances.
