CABINET minister Michael Gove has called for “goodwill on all sides' to solve the Brexit deadlock.

The row over the Irish border can be dealt with if Eurocrats show “willingness” to speed up work to find alternative arrangements, he said. Mr Gove, the minister responsible for no-deal planning, urged the EU to take an open approach as Prime Minister Boris Johnson headed to Berlin for talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel.

No-deal Brexit 'now in the hands' of EU, senior Tory claimsA senior Conservative has declined to estimate the chances of a no-deal Brexit happening, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson having once described such a prospect as a 'million to one' It always was 🤷🏻‍♂️ we voted to leave then a withdrawal agreement was negotiated that utterly failed. We were always told that a mutual deal would only be negotiated after we’d left. Parliament didn’t back the WA so why are people struggling with the default option Wrong again. It is in the hands of British parliamentary democracy. It’s not the British government that is refusing to renegotiate the “failed” WA that’s not and never was a “deal” Our Parliament has the chance to agree the WA but refused we are in this situation because the EU have always stated that they want to make us suffer so bring it on
