No 10 is facing fresh questions over its coronavirus testing plan, as it emerged the government is hoping to exit the lockdown through controversial “immunity passports” and antibody tests that are still not proven to work.

They should just announce we are now entering a new world order and chipping will be needed moving forward instead of a long draining mind conditioning simulated crisis.

There’s a high price to pay for getting one though.

You can have your freedom, if you play a game if covid roulette. Huh

Not until there is a vaccine otherwise herd immunity policy again.

Who is coming out with these absurd ideas. How is the government going to check us all if our frontline people are waiting? I am going out for my daily walk.

But immunity doesn’t prevent you from spreading it.

And all the while we worry about coronavirus whilst in isolation, in 12 months time we will have a nation of alcoholics who started drinking alcohol at home whilst in isolation....watch this space

And those with immunity can't be carriers? Herd immunity aka eugenics in action.

I’m assuming they will be blue ?

They need to do some serious bloody testing then or the only people with an immunity passport will be Boris ,Prince Charles and the Downing Street cat

So this is a continuation of herd immunity theories - no surprise especially if you look at this webpage: “As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) in the UK.”

We continue to lag behind in our responses. Every moment of chaotic leadership is costing lives.....NickiShaw68 ClaireLSW JbmeadowJassi

this was predictable

Think they ought to focus on actually getting ppe supplies, test kits and ventilators to the front lines before they start thinking about anything else. I hope not, but think the surge in the U.K is only just beginning. Wash hands, don’t touch your face & stay home.

Wow...stupidity peaked before coronavirus did.

They haven’t got a fucking clue honestly.

So surely you only have antibodies if you have had the virus. So all of us who stayed in and didn't go out and didn't get the virus will not be able to go back to work or have freedom of movement. Sounds like a punishment for not having the virus.

I don't like the idea of rich people being able to buy their way out of the lockdown by paying to be tested.

So the emphasis on 100k tests will be heavily on antibodies. Still sticking with the herd immunity shit

May I be the umpteenth in line to say the Tories can fuck off with their lethal fixations that will cost lives?

Twats

Sounds good but how long will it take to print off and share the certificates? I’m yet to receive my letter from Boris!

What... by sewing a star on a sleeve ?

Gotta make sure it cant be easily forged. Oh well

Actually a journalist suggested this and the Government said they would consider it if the science backed it up. They were clear that there is a lot more yet to know and consider. Another media attempt to create a non-fact that they can use later if it doesn't come about.

Presumably they will be Brexit Blue to keep the Brexiteers happy .....

GL 10DowningStreet Here is a spanner... i will never let you test me for Covid19 whilst alive, i will never permit a blood sample even when ill and i will refuse any vaccine. But the coroner will publicise their findings. whoops

V for vendetta. Second Act.

Social credit score app.

Supposed to be 'following the science' so no one even knows if there is immunity yet

The Guardian website story is an utter disgrace and textbook example of gaslighting. 'fresh criticism of plan' it leads with, and then fails to present any expert criticism whatsoever. This sham of a paper needs reporting for misleading and spreading FakeNews

The whole thing is another coup to forward their agenda...s

Yesterday was April fools day. There are 66 million in the country. Be realistic.

So if I never go out I will never get it and therefore never be able to go out ever again?!

This is actually a good idea.

Crazy idea

Are there going to be government organised coronavirus parties?

Kept as a prisoner in your home for not contracting a disease! They’ll have a war on their hands.

Don’t hold your breath

Or just get one of them “low skilled” jobs, they appear to already have immunity passports.

Are they going to be blue with a dust of sovereignty? Oh also, did they come up with that idea themselves? hint nudge germany

some is sensible MattHancock . IMHO easiest way to record private testing in home with accuracy is to sell kits from pharmacies. upload data to a secure online site with a photo of 🧾 & a photo of the + or _ result, that isn’t ‘fra*d’ this is about efficiency. FlattenTheCurve

And the cost?

Will they be blue and made in EU?

Do we know that immunity exists then and how long for?

How long are people immune for? Short answer: no one knows.

Immunity passports?

Good idea. Plain common sense

The Nazi party has returned. Makes sense, the queen is German.

We don’t live in a war torn economy or movie. This is outrageous FlattenTheCurve

Shoot them dead

So if you get the virus you can go about your everyday life while everyone else remains in lockdown? They're still pursuing the herd immunity thing aren't they?

Just like germany .
