Police have recovered a body around a mile from where Nicola Bulley was last seen

Nicola Bulley's partner has spoken of his "agony" after a body was found by police during the search for the missing 45-year-old. The grim discovery was made roughly a mile from where the mum-of-two was last seen walking her dog in St Michael's on Wyre

The Mirror reports that he wrote in a message: "No words right now, just agony." Mr Rashid said the family are "incredibly heartbroken" and will "really be struggling tonight". "Procedures to identify the body are ongoing. We are currently treating the death as unexplained. How police could have avoided dreadful invasion of Nicola Bulley's privacyLancashire Police is facing criticism from the public, the media, and the government over its decision to reveal details of Nicola Bulley's personal life. The mother-of-two has been missing for more than three weeks, and officers say they thought transparency was the best course of action. Media standards.. dreadful invasion of this woman's privacy? she's missing for gods sake, nothing should be 'private' when the authorities are STILL trying to ascertain if someone is missing, kidnapped, or murdered, has everyone lost their minds They know how to avoid it. They choose not to. They do the same with rape and domestic abuse victims; invade their privacy more than they do to any accused. The sick thing is they do it to try to find a reason to blame the victim. It’s why many cases don’t go to court.

How dare police mention Nicola Bulley's menopause - it's pure misogynyTHE disappearance of a person is at best distressing and, at worst, utterly heartbreaking. Many of us have been following the Nicola Bulley investigation with sadness and bewilderment, others with … It's totally relevent. Instead of looking in the river where she isn't folk know to look out for an unstable woman? Fair point, but women are campaigning for time off due to menopausal symptoms, so it is huge news because it effects women massively. No one asks for time off if they can’t get it up, so it’s not an issue. Rubbish
