A Northern Ireland mum has said additional financial support for families struggling to kit out their children with new school uniforms is simply not enough in the current cost of living crisis.

🙄🥱🥱🥱 you knew the cost of uniforms when you signed them up to the schools. Stop your crying poor me and get on with it the way everyone else has to. Pay for your own kids and stop expecting everyone else to!
Not to mention some kids grow that fast, ya end up buying more items throughout the year, extra jumper, trousers. It happens to us every year.
