A group of young judo kids from Northern Ireland have claimed a record haul of medals at the British Schools' Championship.
Fifteen of the NI squad are standing members of the NIJF Pathway Squad and Academy, which is an initiative coached by long standing and acclaimed coach Stephen McCluskey. Another four were self-funded players. And the hard work paid off as this year with a stellar medal haul for the Northern Ireland players, as well as the success in contest wins, the experience for the players was unparalleled and building blocks for the future.
