Considering 1.5 million people work for the NHS that equates to about forty minutes per person.

I sometimes think the general public don't realise just how much selfless personal sacrifice has been put in by NHS staff to hide/mitigate the effects of Govt austerity policies on patients after the Govt stopped taking inflation into account when setting the NHS budget.

Why don’t All British people ask All the Labour Party MPs how many hours per week they work for their £ 70 or 80,000 salary ) per year, maybe only 12.5 hours work per week.

At Bloody Least!!!!!

1.5 million staff , about 35 minutes overtime a week on average on the other hand sickness and absence accounts for 1.4 million full time days lost in a month

This is such a loaded statement.. nurses and hospital staff have always worked more than they are paid. The work is never done in the health service, god bless them all.. but that’s the nature of the beast. It will always be underfunded. Every area could do with more money/ staff

Bullshit Boris Johnson

Twisted/corrupted values when people in entertainment/football etc.. getting millions, real carers of communities underpaid and overworked !

Thanks, Conservative Party! Your austerity is doing the job!

Getting NHS back on track 'could take many years'Targets covering A&E, cancer and routine operations have been missed for more than three years. That’s in part because it’s been through constant reorganisation since 2012 - and no doubt will be again with next change of Government... It’s not a destination. Improvement is an on going process and evolutionary. The destruction of the NHS started with Tony Blair in 1997 and continued through successive Tory governments.
