People happy with quality of care but have difficulty getting appointment, survey finds

Patients are finding it increasingly hard to get an appointment with a GP, to see their own family doctor and to get through to their surgery on the phone, an NHS survey shows.

At 8.30 yesterday I walked into creffield road surgery in Colchester. I had a 2 week old ear ache. Got an appointment for 9.15 that day and had my prescription by 9.40.
