Neymar lashes out at former PSG team-mate Kylian Mbappe with bizarre Instagram comment

For six years Mbappe and Neymar were teammates at Paris Saint-Germain , but things didn't really work out as well as they should have done.While the Parisian club dominated French football between 2017 and 2023, the most prestigious competition in club football eluded them.

Tensions between the two attackers began to grow in recent seasons, with the Brazilian unhappy that he was effectively playing in Mbappe's shadow when he was meant to be the team's star.The Brazilian is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered while playing for Brazil in October last year, but that doesn't mean he is keeping himself out of the headlines.

Neymar took exception to the post, and left a comment in which he called the admin a "Gringo ball sucker."According to @SelecaoTalk on X, Neymar was "referring to the Brazilian problem where Brazilians often criticise everything Brazilian and praise everything European."The Instagram account that made the Mbappe post has reportedly been critical of Neymar in the past.
