Company says it has ‘paused’ its relationship with the social media company as part of global movement against hate speech

New Zealand’s largest newspaper group has temporarily quit Facebook in a bold “experiment” akignment with a global boycott of the social media site, which has been condemned for failing to crack down on escalating hate speech.
