A 22-year-old African American woman has filed a civil rights lawsuit in New York, claiming she was shackled to a hospital gurney during labor, after being arrested on a minor assault charge that was later dismissed.
Clearly the cops or security guards are not fit enough to chase a woman in labour who might try to escape. The cops are incompetent...
She was under arrest. Lmfao how is that not in the title they didnt shackle some random woman giving birth they arrested her for assault. Was brought to jail went through intake then went into labor and brought to the hospital. Does a pregnant woman not have to obey laws?
