BREAKING: New York now has 100 children suffering from deadly Covid-19 related Kawasaki Disease

A new Kawasaki Disease-like inflammation of the blood vessels has infected at least 100 children in New York, amid fears it may be linked to coronavirushotspot New York now has 100 children battling a potentially deadly inflammation of the blood vessels believed to be related to coronavirus. State Governor Andrew Cuomo said Tuesday that three children had been killed by the illness after battling symptoms similar to those caused by Kawasaki disease.

‘It’s an inflammation of the blood vessels and can affect the heart..if we have this issue in New York we probably have it in other states. These children don’t present the usual Covid symptoms, they’re not respiratory symptoms.’ The governor did not share any further details about the three children killed by the condition. Kawasaki disease is usually very treatable, and can be managed with medications as common as aspirin.

Cuomo shared a list of possible symptoms – including fever, nausea, abdominal pain, breathing issues and a change in skin color, and warned parents to seek medical assistance immediately if they suspect their child may have been infected. At a coronavirus hearing held by the US Senate on Friday, America’s top coronavirus expert Dr Anthony Fauci cautioned Kentucky Senator Rand Paul over his push to get schools reopened quickly after highlighting the potential risk of Kawasaki disease.

Has pneumococcus vaccine been recommended in NY during COVID? I am really curious about this

2015 Peer reviewed study: 'Low serum concentrations of 25(OH)-vitamin D might have a contributive role in the development of coronary artery complications observed in children with Kawasaki Disease'

You are FakeNews

This is a very rare reaction or phenomenon compared to all the children who've been exposed to SARS-CoV-2. I wouldn't be extremely worried as a parent. I think you can be reassured that the vast majority of children have either no symptoms or very mild symptoms.

Care to comment FatEmperor aka the kwackemperor?

KourtneyGodwish Wtf is going on...

Real or Fake? 🤔

This is not new. This is to entrap the healthiest human beings in vaccine mandates. Kawasaki disease is associated with flu vaccine which data shows increases susceptibility to Covid by 36%.

piersmorgan What's your take on this?

Alyssa_Milano Hi, not sure if youve seen this, but Trump apparently just said you should send kids to school, but scientists need to get a handle on this, reportedly 15 states investigating cases too. Worried for the kids. 😰😰

TielynnS

JustinTrudeau cafreeland CPHO_Canada Dr Tam, I am sure you are aware of this. Apparently Quebec is thinking of relaxing measures so they must be made aware of this lest children be sickened. Just FYI Mr Trudeau and Mrs Freeland

RandPaul Is this what you want for American kids? Way to go Sweden first you send your parents/grandparents to sickness and slaughter, now how many of your kids have Kawasaki disease? Herd immunity is NOT meant for infecting people, but % vaccinated. COVID19

Since when is an 18 year old a child?

seemorerocks

Nobody knows how this virus is going to pan out that's because it's a NEW virus, get a grip Boris and friends you're messing with people's lives here, now look what's happening to kids and you want to open up the economy, get it under control then open up, it's not rocket science

Scaremongering again

Kawasaki syndrome. Occurs from any infection.. virual or bacterial. Is very rare. And is not infectus. With covid in community a tiny increase in cases might be expected.

devisridhar Holy cow.

Corona virus is a coverup for the affects of 5G emf

devisridhar Australian Gov raising this as a major concern in their briefing today. They have 98 COVID deaths IN TOTAL in the whole country. Why aren’t we when we have 60,000 dead?

devisridhar Ohh my God!

devisridhar Sorry, I can't hear this over the sound of allisonpearson and other extreme libertarian's life threatening propaganda. Could you say it a little louder?

💔

I have covid19, my 11 year old had tummy pains, headaches and swollen lips, cleared up in a few days but I did wonder if this was how it might present in a child

Wait so is it from China or Japan?

Middle class moms are going to be sending their kids back to school, yep

Actually italy had a sharp increase of cases, were before they had 1-2 a year they now had 30 in about 6 weeks and counting

I call bollocks

Evelyn24287876 Perhaps it’s vaccine related. Seems far more likely.

The warning issued in this country not so long ago about keeping an eye out for rashes on children, as well as stomach pains to immediately seek medical attention. Why have you not added that particular point here?

I smell bovine waste material..... lamestream media hysterical headline

Was it named after the bike company?
