New Spotify Basic plan could save Premium users up to £24 a year

It comes after the online music streaming giant quietly introduced a new Basic plan at a cheaper price. By changing their plan, subscribers could save up to £2 a month and all they have to do is give up audiobooks.

Apart from that, the Basic plan provides the same features as the Premium plan, including an ad-free experience, downloading any songs you wants, high-quality audio, and podcasts. It comes after Spotify announced its plans to increase its subscription costs by £1 for individual plans and £2 for Duo and Family plans.Since May, Individual Premium subscribers have been paying £11.99, while Family Plans went up to £19.99. However, the Family Basic Plan only costs £17.
