Nottingham's two-Michelin-star Restaurant Sat Bains has had electric car chargers installed for customers and staff as part of a publicly-funded scheme. The site was given a grant of almost £5,000 as part of a broader Nottingham City Council programme, dubbed the "workplace travel service", which has worked with 87 local businesses over the last two years.
The scheme was designed to enable Nottingham companies to install greener methods of travel for staff and customers. At Restaurant Sat Bains, a 22kW dual charger was recently installed, able to charge two cars at once.
