BREAKING: New coronavirus infections levels out but 'we're far from out of the woods'

It comes as Michael Gove said that the rate of coronavirus testing in the UK has increased.

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster told the Downing Street press conference: ‘More NHS staff are returning to the frontline, and more testing is taking place to help those self-isolating come back, and to protect those working so hard in our hospitals and in social care.

and Matt Hancock were working with companies worldwide to ensure the UK gets the material needed to increase tests ‘of all kind’.Visit our live blog for the latest updates:

If you knew you had coronavirus and were contagious but not showing symptoms, what would you do and what would you not do? The answer is how you should be behaving right now.

If they say we're levelling out we'll just get the idiots in society thinking it's ok to go out.

We haven’t ‘levelled out’ AT ALL. We saw 2 days, over a weekend, where new case s were similar. We saw an increase in today’s numbers. Not levelling out. Especially when death numbers aren’t actually in sync and actual testing figures aren’t high enough... far from levelled out

level out when they arent testing people and recording deaths.

Explaining the increase in deaths, Cuomo says, 'The longer you're on a ventilator, the less likely you will come off those ventilators.'
