A £50,000 project to build a new outdoor classroom at Dolphin House Outdoor Education Centre, at Culzean, has been given the go-ahead.
The design statement, which provides context to the project, said: “The council has approved funding to carry out a review of the outdoor education facilities provided to schools by Thriving Communities from their base at Dolphin House in Culzean Castle and Country Park. “The options appraisal identified that extending the existing bunkhouse to provide overnight accommodation was the only sensible option for the site.
