The Royal Mint has released a £2 coin commemorating 75 years since the D-Day landings

By Hollie Borland, Senior Digital Consumer ReporterA £2 coin commemorating the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings has been launched by the Royal Mint.

With a huge invasion force, the Allies stormed five beaches - code named Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. Instead, you'll need to buy it directly from the Royal Mint's website where prices start from £10 for a brilliant uncirculated version and rang up to a whopping £845 for a gold proof coin. If you choose the auction website then remember to set a minimum price that is higher or at the very least equal to the face value of the coin.
