But I want to make one other point. We’re all human beings here. If you were mad at your employer for a few months or more and couldn’t leave for another job at your own will, are you going to do your best work and be a great teammate? Maybe, but that’s not universally applicable. Everybody saying, “Oh, they can just come back and win” isn’t factoring in the months of bad blood between the stars and the organization. Heck, there’s still no firm answer on why Durant wants out.
