By Annabelle Liang and Peter HoskinsStreaming giant Netflix says it will invest $2.5bn in South Korea over the next four years.
Mr Yoon is currently on a state visit to the US where he is expected to meet President Joe Biden on Wednesday. Mr Sarandos said the money will be spent on making movies and television shows in Asia's fourth largest economy. A Netflix spokesperson said the company did not "have anything to add at this time," when asked by the BBC about other potential investments in the region.In 2021, South Korean-made Squid Game became Netflix's most-popular series of all time. It was streamed by 111 million users in the first 28 days after its launch.
