Neighbour from hell threatened to kill and 'slice up' terrified pensioner

A nightmare neighbour who threatened to kill and "slice up" a terrified pensioner in the flat above him has been caged following a campaign of terror.

In November last year the woman's grandson came to visit and when leaving realised the wing mirror on his car had been smashed. Then on December 27, he again shouted, telling her he was going to "slice you up" in ranting which lasted two hours. The following morning, after her grandson left to go to work, McLaughlin started shouting more abuse and said "Oh he is off, I'm coming to get you now."

"The way he has been constantly threatening and harassing me has been dreadful. I feel like a prisoner in my own home. I'm constantly in fear of violence from him. I did nothing to deserve this and can't believe someone would treat a neighbour in this way."
