Earlier this year he weighed in at 16 stone and was told by his doctor that he was obese and close to becoming diabetic. After a “half-portions” diet — “keep your mouth zipped”, he says of the approach — he has lost three stone. “I feel fantastic, genuinely,” he says.

He still doesn't speak a word of English, so that's hardly progress is it?!
But Zahawi soon learned how to fiddle his Parliamentary expenses and claim for heating the horses’ stables. Interesting that he was an aide to Jeffrey Archer.
