Investigators have not released any details or circumstances surrounding Monday's discovery at the property in Wittengen, in northern Germany. However, they have linked the deaths to those of three people - a 53-year-old man and two women aged 33 and 30 - who were discovered by a maid in their hotel room in Passau, hundreds of miles away near the Austrian border, on Saturday.The bodies of the man and the older woman were found lying on the hotel bed, hand in hand, with multiple crossbow bolt wounds.Officers do not believe there had been anyone else in the room as there was no sign of a struggle.
A Bavaria police spokesman said:"A total of three crossbows were found in the room where the corpses were located. One of them was inside a bag."
