THREE hotel guests have been found dead after they were shot with crossbows at a guesthouse in Bavaria, Germany, on Saturday.
Police are now probing their deaths after employees of a hotel in the town of Passau found the bodies in the room.Police said the three victims included a 53-year-old man and two women aged 33 and 30, all of them German citizens. Local media reports said the victims had booked a triple room on Friday for a three-day stay in the town of Passau.
Two crossbows were reportedly found in the room by police when officers searched the scene in the remote riverside hotel near the Austrian border. A police statement said: "At present, the reasons for the death of the three people are still completely open.
