My partners friends

My partner and I have been together 5 years, have two kids and our relationship has not been an easy one.

We have had major issues for years down to my partners behaviour, which i won't delve into right now. Anyway, we are much better now, had lots of help with counselling and are definitely on a better path. The problem is, when we have had problems, like most people do you confide in your friends. He has lots of friends, whereas i only truely have 1 good friend.

Its got me really down because i wanted to enjoy our time together with friends when we get the chance, but its evident that over the years of things being said to them, they clearly haven't heard the whole truth.
