'My neighbour wrecked my hedge to build a fence - and tried to charge me £3,000'

A woman was left "appalled and shocked" after her brazen neighbour's behaviour in a simmering row. The woman and her husband have locked horns with their fellow resident after he built a "horrible" mansion at the end of their garden.

Taking to Mumsnet to tell her tale, she wrote: "A new home was built a couple of years ago at the end of our garden - on the grounds of a much bigger house. The owner has built a horrible Footballer's House-style mansion there. Top news stories today "He said he couldn't show us invoices as it was 'through his building company'. We said no, we don't want a fence, we don't have £3k and the hedge is on our land."
