What is life like behind the scenes at COP26? COP26BBC

Science journalist, Helen Briggs, is at COP26 to report for the BBC. In the latest in a series of first-person accounts, she describes what life is like behind the scenes at the Glasgow summit.

Police patrol outside the iron gates but, once I'm through security, I'm in the "Blue Zone" where the key negotiations between world leaders are taking place. This is United Nations - not Scottish - territory for this fortnight only.

COP26: Rich countries ‘pushing back’ on paying for climate lossPoorer countries say they are not able to get compensation for the damage caused by climate change. The problem is with the corporations not the countries though But didn't they create their pollution? So why is someone else paying for it. In theory rich countries have created it; which they also are expected to pay for. Seems poor countries think its another handout; Our rich Gov have already gave them our money though. You mean billionaires are pushing back on having to pay their fair share of taxes which will help fund paying for climate loss which they helped to cause.
