I have a 13-year-old boy who hasis becoming more exposed to the topic of pornography and harmful language about womenit with him, how can I ensure that when he? Are there any safe spaces or sitesaffected by what he finds, simply becauseWhere is he being exposed to this? At school? With friends? It may be worth talking to the school if that’s where he’s viewing it. Incredibly, there isn’t a law about the minimum age someone can watch legal porn.

You can’t. He’s hitting puberty and will act on it. The most effective thing you can do is talk him through how porn is not sex and that intimacy is realer in loving relationships and better for it. If you’ve raised him to treat people with empathy, porn isn’t going to erase that
