A Brit mum whose ex-partner left her for the Ukrainian refugee they had taken in says she "wouldn't take him back in a million years" after the pair announced their split. Lorna Garnett, 28, reportedly told her friends that she was not surprised that her former boyfriend Tony, 30, had broken things off with Sofiia Karkadym.
However, their whirlwind romance has now come to an abrupt end after Mr Garnett allegedly broke up with his Ms Karkadym following an explosive argument on his 30th birthday. According to The Sun, Ms Garnett told her pals: "I knew it would end in disaster for them — I just didn’t think it would come after only four months. He has thrown away so much. It’s hard to feel any sympathy. I wouldn’t have him back in a million years.
He told MailOnline: "I am 100 per cent through with her. We are finished as a couple. I left Lorna and my two children for her, and I made every extra effort I could to help her keep us together. I worked so hard to make this relationship work. The security guard claimed that he called things off after the pair had an argument during Mr Garnett's 30th birthday celebration on Saturday night. He described his relationship with Ms Karkadym as a "mistake" but said he was still looking out for her.
