A woman has been spared jail after mowing down a stranger outside a Tesco in a ‘burst of temper’.

Bus driver Paramjip Malhi was sent flying through the air by Aimme Palmer’s Ford Fiesta after a heated row outside the supermarket in Hodge Hill.Crown Court heard the incident happened as the single mum-of-two began to reverse out of her parking bay as Mr Malhi walking behind her car.

Palmer stayed at the scene until police arrived but later blamed Mr Malhi for ‘zig-zagging’ in front of her car.But her claim was rejected by Judge Andrew Smith KC, who stressed her actions caused ‘significant physical and psychological harm’ to Mr Malhi.Prosecutor Timothy Sapwell said: ‘It has left him traumatised. He cannot sleep. He has nightmares about his leg. He was scared when he went out. The sound of cars going quickly and revving caused him to be anxious.

How to get away with a violent crime: have kids. Be white.

rawlimark First offence, she was immediately contrite, I think prison would be wrong. However she she be banned from driving for a very long time, like a decade, and made to take an extended test if she ever wants to drive again.

I think her sentence is fair, no one was killed, it would only be wasting tax payers money sending her to prison.

What surprised me is shouldn't guy have been awarded compensation? Glad it didn't end up a more serious injury

Spared jail!!! What a country we live in

So hang on. A person who has so little control of her temper that she would literally run over a stranger in her car is spared jail so she can look after CHILDREN?!?! I think they might be better off in someone else's care.

I didn’t realise having children made you less of a criminal

No, this is a danger to other people. Think of what other violent acts she could commit with intent to harm other people or even her own children. Awful.

Frustration leads to horrible situations!?!
