A HEARTBROKEN mum has paid a touching tribute to her six-year-old daughter after she was killed by a car as she walked with her dad.at around 7.15pm on June 19.Sharlotte's family described her as 'sassy, so brave and happy'Emergency responders battled to save her but the little girl was later declared dead.
Sharlotte’s family issued a heartfelt statement yesterday, saying their happy daughter had been “full of life” and “always smiling”."Sharlotte just started her gymnastics classes which she loved and was shining so bright in.The girl, six, was mowed down by a car on Endon Road"Every night since she was born she would never sleep without holding her mum’s hand."She was taken so early from us and will never be forgotten.
Cops have issued an appeal for witnesses to the collision to come forward, and in particular anyone that saw a blue Skoda Rapid in the area on Saturday evening.Credit: SWNSStaffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigations Unit, said at the time: “We’re continuing to investigate and understand fully what happened last night. We’d urge anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, or who witnessed the collision or saw a blue Skoda in the area to get in touch with us.“Sharlotte’s family are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them all at this time.
