Mum’s agony after her son, 34, punched his brother, 36, to death over drunken insult about wife on night out18th May 2019,A MUM has revealed her family’s devastation after one of her sons was jailed for killing his elder brother on a drunken night out.
It started between the pair when it was said Lee, 36, made an insulting remark about his 34-year-old’s brother’s wife. The dad of two from Tonbridge, Kent, was pronounced dead at the scene despite paramedics and friends attempting CPR.Carl was sobbing and distressed when he was arrested at the scene and he told police he thought his mates was joking when he was told his brother was dead, the court heard.Carl, who runs a panel beating company, pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
"It was a purely natural and loving relationship. Unfortunately they had an argument which will change our lives forever."I know justice has to be done but there are no winners in my family.She asked the court to give the family a chance to help Carl rebuild his life and added: “We need Carl as much as he needs us.
She told Carl: "Your whole family has experienced not only the enormous grief of the loss of your brother but they have also experienced the anguish and all the emotion of seeing you admit your guilt to this offence and being in custody.
