EXCLUSIVE: Mum 'devastated' after housing bosses order her to remove rainbow painted by daughters on wall for the NHS

A mum was forced to take down a rainbow painted by her daughter for the NHS after it was deemed against the rules by housing bosses.

The family wanted to give doctors and nurses travelling past their house to the Queen Alexandra hospital in Portsmouth, Hants, something to smile about. "I'm disgusted, the girls' wanted to create it because we live on a main road where a lot of NHS staff drive past everyday so it was meant to show them how well they are doing."

"We understand it's for the NHS to show your support, but you should have asked us before any paint or writing on the property wall.
