Businesswoman Hiba has complained to the M&S head office after the incident and returned the product to Kingston-Upon-Thames branch where she bought it. But she claims to have received no explanation for the dangerous blunder and wants M&S to recall the product. She said: ‘They’re valuing my daughter’s life, as she could have choked, at a £10 e-voucher and £25 gift card.
‘With Marks and Spencers, and apparently other high-end supermarkets you wouldn’t expect this to occur.
It shouldn't have happened, but looks like as soon as she cut it up for her daughter she would have seen it before serving it.
This isn't any rubber glove, thus is an M & S rubber glove.
Don’t eat chicken steak
(1) looks very nicely cut up, how did the 4 year old 'bite into it' with no bite marks, (2) if it wasn't cut up, a 4 year old biting into an entire chicken steak is odd, (3) the child looks happy, (4) 'compensation' of £35 is plenty for this. Trying to get something for nothing.
I was surprised recently when I tucked into an M&S cottage pie and found a £50 gift voucher in it. I took it back and was offered a pair of blue gloves. They let me keep the voucher so it was a win win outcome.
Unless the child choked or got sick from contamination, I think that's fair. What was she expecting £10k lol
