Mulgrew confirmed as Accies coach as he aims to 'foster culture of excellence'

Hamilton Accies have confirmed the appointment of former Celtic and Scotland star Charlie Mulgrew as their new Under-18s coach.

And Accies hope that kind of knowledge of the game can help their youth setup continue to thrive in the future. A club statement read: “Hamilton Academical FC are delighted to announce the appointment of former Scotland International footballer, Charlie Mulgrew, as the newest member of the Coaching Staff at the Club where he will undertake responsibility for the club’s Under 18’s Elite Youth Academy team.

“A proven winner with a glittering array of elite level honours throughout his career, ensures that Hamilton Academical FC are thrilled to welcome Charlie Mulgrew to the club, where he will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the next generation of talented young footballers within the Under 18’s Elite Youth Academy. His guidance and mentorship are expected to inspire, motivate, and elevate the players to reach their full potential, both on and off the pitch.
