'Much-loved' great-gran who worked as NHS nurse for more than 30 years dies of coronavirus - this is so tragic

A 'MUCH-LOVED' nurse and great-gran is the latest NHS worker to tragically die from coronavirus.

The dedicated nurse spent more than 30 years of her life working in NHS Borders hospital caring for patients. We are backing a proposal by Lord Ashcroft to honour our health heroes with the gallantry gong given for acts of bravery that did not take place in battle. The statement said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear family member and colleague Angie Cunningham on Wednesday from COVID-19.
