MPs have voted to take control of Commons business in an unprecedented move to try to find a majority for any Brexit option.Business minister Richard Harrington resigned from the government to vote for the move, which will see votes on a series of alternatives to the PM's Brexit deal.
MPs are now voting on a call to be given a vote on requesting another Brexit extension if a deal has not been approved by 5 April. Theresa May had tried to head off a defeat by offering MPs a series of votes on Brexit alternatives, organised by the government.The so-called indicative votes are set to take place on Wednesday.

The government have just over 2 weeks to do anything. They could not have a general election or referendum within 2 weeks. Time is limited now.
Now you know, as the lady said,” if voting ever changed anything, they’d abolish it.” If the people had courage enough, they’d ditch adversarial parliaments, and elect themselves directly. If... Still, even if we remain in Europe, we’ll be a thorn in its side.
In future everyone needs to understand that they should jolly well vote the way they are told by Parliament or they will throw a hissy fit, bugger it up and then claim it can’t be done. Just so they can ignore that referendum.

Only a few ways to progress now - EFTA/single market type brexit (not ideal but better than Theresa May's nonsense, people's vote with option to remain...or if really honest and bold..admit that brexit was totally missold and revoke A50 to focus on real issues facing the UK.
