Mother's Day brawl breaks out in packed city restaurant

A fight broke out in a packed restaurant as families trying to enjoy a Mother's Day meal looked on in horror.

In the video, some onlookers can be seen dodging the restaurant rumble, while others attempt to break it up. One person is heard saying: "She's punching her head in" while another shouts: "This is our Mother's Day!" A mum is seen trying to protect her little girl from the scrap as the women fall backwards into a seat.

On Mother's Day last year a similar incident was filmed on Jamaica Street, with a number of women brawling outside Camp and Furnace nightclub.
