A 39 year-old mother of 10 who endured a difficult pregnancy has died 11 days after giving birth to her first daughter. Sonya Harlow, from Livingston in Texas, gave birth to Eliyanah on November 5, and died on November 16.
An autopsy is pending, with the grieving widower suspecting his late wife may have died from a ‘post-partum-related medical emergency.’ Sonya had endured a difficult pregnancy, which saw her suffer issues including high blood pressure that left her too unwell to do her job as a medical admissions director.Spencer said he and his late wife shared some of their children from previous marriages, but added that he had always thought of Sonya as a ‘full mother’ to their entire brood.
