A new boy and girl name has risen to the top in the last year

The official list was released on Tuesday, April 16 by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency with the annual data looking at the naming trends in the past year.

In 2023, the top baby name for a girl was Isla and the top baby name for a boy was Noah - taking over from Grace and James in 2022.Read more: Leap into cuteness!
