Montana Brown on life after Love Island: 'People feel embarrassed to go back to jobs'

Montana Brown has opened up on life after Love Island for many contestants, and said that some of those that don’t end up successful feel “embarrassed” about returning to their day jobs.

With this in mind, Montana believes that there needs to be more support for people once the buzz has died down.“Some people have such a different experience on Love Island. People go on the show and think, ‘I’m going to be famous. I’m going to be so successful. I’m never going to need to work ever again, and I’m going to have a really easy life posting pictures on Instagram,’ and, for a lot of people, that is the case.

“In terms of asking for help, it’s never normally needed instantaneously because you’re still riding the wave and you’re still on that buzz where you’re going to events all the time, doing things as a group, lots of ITV reunions and radio appearances. Everyone feels that buzz, but six months or a year after you’ve been on the show, people are having very, very different experiences."
