The Mona Lisa is one of the most celebrated paintings in history, but da Vinci's masterpiece is in need of something of a renaissance among British tourists.
UK holidaymakers were asked to name the worst attractions in Europe, with the 16th century portrait topping the list of biggest disappointments. EasyJet spoke to 2,000 British tourists who revealed that landmarks in Berlin, Brussels and Rome also failed to meet their expectations.
Moaning Lisa
It’s a small but perfectly painted artistic treasure.
What the fuck were they expecting to see there.... The Hanging Gardens of Babylon?!

Must be because those places don't offer free WiFi to upload selfies on social media. At the end of the day, isn't that why most young folks visit tourist attractions nowadays?
I expected bigger...
Really – Did they not look at some British Seaside Towns? Once on my way back for Cornwall I stopped off at one particular seaside town, it was a Sunday and it was closed, even the sea had gone for a walk! 🎡🎠☂️🦀⛈️🍦⛔️💩
Try the heartbreak of seeing the Corn Palace in South Dakota.
It’s clearly not modern or attractive enough for the youth of today.
Idiots rush past dozens of great works of art, some of mankind's greatest, to take a selfie with one. There's plenty more to see in the Louvre, but when you DO the Louvre in two hours or less, what do you expect?
It’s not an attraction, it’s a piece of art by one of the greatest artists/inventors of all time, if people don’t like then so be it
Speedqueenie The mannequin pis in Brussels, I walked past it several times before I realised that was actually it!
It can only be appreciated up close. At the Louvre, the viewer cannot get up close.

Sky news rehashing internet click bait. Ignore. Total rubbish article.
I was surprised at the size but not as disappointed as I was with the Cistime Chapel
Couldn’t agree more
The Mona Lisa isn't a tourist attraction, it's a work of art in a gallery. If tourists don't like it they've hundreds of others to look at.
It's a small painting, what do you expect
If you think going to see a picture you have seen before on the internet is going to be fun then you are bound to be let down. If you really love Art, I'm sure its different.
It's a bird 'avin' a titter. Boring mate!
My God! people don't half like to Mona
Disappointing to ungrateful 5year olds? 🤔
