Hundreds march following claims a man died hours after being released by Cardiff police

Hundreds of people have joined a march organised following claims a man died hours after being released by police in Cardiff.More than 300 people took part in a march from the city centre to Cardiff Bay police station.

Earlier, First Minister Mark Drakeford said the reports of Mr Hassan's death were "deeply concerning". Mr Price said any inquiry should not be prejudged, but asked if the first minister would "help the family find those answers"."Our thoughts must be with the family of a young man who was... a fit and healthy individual," the Cardiff West MS said.

In a statement on Monday, South Wales Police said Mr Hassan was arrested at his home in Newport Road on Friday night and taken to Cardiff Bay police station.

Probably smoked weed.. black lives matter

Organisers should be arrested and fined. Where is the social distancing ? Now I suppose I’m going to have all the snowflakes call me racist.

He died AFTER being released by police so who killed him sure as hell it wasn't the police maybe one of his so called friends who thought he had blabbed to them .

If there is no evidence mis-treatment, why has the footage not been released?

not reporting or your journalists showing their disgust in these people killing others with their selfishness a little weird dont you think? biased at all

It doesn't make any sense it said released but died afterwards; so not in police custody. How are the police involved in his death? Surely if injured would he not need hospital treatment? Or was protests staged so was helped. didn't even go to hospital on release; why? if injured

Are the going to storm anywhere?

Cue the double standards of policing

These people seem to be inciting violence!

Bring out the fire brigade and hose them down with blasts of water. That might cool the super spreaders down a bit

Let’s see what the police will do about this! Others are fined for breaking COVID rules, I hope we will see equally fair fined issued here!

Hope they were all fined this is the problem with this country now this lot

'Furthermore, we find no evidence that urban protests reignited Covid-19 case growth during the more than three weeks following protest onset.'

Ffs here we go again 🙄

Marches and protests should be banned, if they are not all fined Then you can't find anyone, metpoliceuk 10DowningStreet

I'm guessing this permitted because no one had a coffee with them and so it wasn't a picnic.

No peace, no justice Or is it more a case of No facts, no evidence..?

Here we go again. There’s another lockdown so let’s all go out protesting.

An excuse to get outside

So you put are LIVES in danger by spreading covid, cheers

Do any Welsh people live in Cardiff....or Wales? 🐵

Covidiots ? piersmorgan

Good old Welsh name.

Didn’t 2 women get fined £200 the other day for going for a walk?

Walking with an elderly friend along a beach front gets u arrested. . .but how many of this crowd were arrested?

And where were the police shutting down these protests like they did for anti lockdown protest?

RIP. He looks as if he was a lovely person

SWPCardiff how many have been fined for breaching covid rules?

Good, should be more of them

Any excuse for some people to want to tell the world how put down and badly treated they are.

Good Welsh name.

Fine the lot of them.

Now I believe what people are saying about chris_grey2 is true, Mr Chris you are indeed a man of your words, you have changed life’s including mine. Thanks chris_grey2 for your kindness I now have alot to pay off my debt I'll not stop trading with your company platform

Always the same marching against the law...

So many questions here.

Another shit head getting full support from bbc.

Put them on an unused cruise ship. Take them out a few miles then sink it.

Why don’t they wait for the results before they March, don’t they realise loads more people could die now

mrjohn12345678 BBC now give a shit about police violence after ignoring it for 6 months because the victims were wwc

Doesn't Apply they're ethnic, doesn't apply!

And some sections of the community are disproportionately affected by COVID apparently ! and Welsh hospitals are pretty full already.
