Warwickshire Police are aware of the incident and have appealed for anyone with information to contact the force. ‘Now she has had threats of physical violence and she’s almost certainly lost her job. She is frightened to death and it seems totally unfair.‘This is a girl out for a drink, she’s drunk, she’s upset that she’s lost her handbag and now it’s being made into something it isn’t.‘She’s a lovely girl, very warm and this is totally out of character but she’s obviously panicking about losing her handbag.
‘Being drunk and losing your bag is no excuse so can people stop using it as a justification, she’s probably only apologised because she’s been caught on camera.’Another user, going under the handle The Doctoral Researcher, also took a dim view, writing: ‘Racism is alive and all those that defend her are the problem.’
