Liam Neeson's story isn't just about race - it's how men talk about rape tooLiam Neeson’s revelation that he wanted to kill a black man after a ‘dear friend’ was raped has caused a storm, although the attack happened around forty years ago. A rap on the knuckles. Well to be fair, he was originally answering a specific question about the plot of his film. This conversation has never really been about rape, Neeson appears to be deemed the criminal here , the rapist being very low down the cast list along with the victim. Just suppose the rapist was Irish/Catholic, would he want to kill himself, a fete he could've accomplished by not even leaving his home with a cosh waiting to be provoked to use that weapon.
